From the beginning of the class we have made goals with our heart rates, intervals, and time trials. Everyday we have the class, we always take a few minutes to warm up and "walk it around" as Nate would say. On our milder days, we will usually stay around our zones 2 and 3, and on our harder days, we will stay between zone 4 and 5. Our time trials are definitely the toughest, but I think that we all enjoy the time trials, at least I do. The time trials are rough, but to make light of the suffering silence Nate welcomes us to the "pain cave."
